Short version: if you leave your email on ormaos.com, I use it to write to you about Ormaos, and for nothing else. You can ask me to delete it at any time.

Who I am

Ormaos is built by Levi Braga, an independent developer. There is no company yet. For anything about your data, email hello@ormaos.com.

What I collect

When you submit a form on this site: your email address, the bug description if you wrote one, and which form you used. That’s all. I don’t collect your name, I don’t store your IP address, and the site has no cookies, no analytics and no tracking.

What I use it for

To send you a personal email asking what you think of Ormaos, and a short note when something is released or a new feature ships. I read the bug descriptions to understand the problems people have. I don’t sell, rent or share your email, and I don’t add you to anyone else’s list.

Why I’m allowed to

You gave it to me by submitting the form, for the purpose above. That’s consent, and you can withdraw it at any time.

Where it’s stored

Submissions are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database located in eastern North America. The site runs on Cloudflare too, which processes each request to deliver the page, including your IP address, under its own privacy policy. When you submit a form, a copy is emailed to me through Cloudflare, and the emails I send you go through Zoho Mail. Nothing else touches your data.

How long I keep it

Until you ask me to stop or to delete it, or until Ormaos shuts down, whichever comes first.

Your rights

You can ask to see what I have about you, correct it, or delete it. Reply “stop” to any email from me, or write to hello@ormaos.com, and I’ll do it and confirm. You can also contact the data protection authority where you live.

In your browser

The only thing this site stores in your browser is your light or dark theme, and only after you click the theme button. It never leaves your browser.

This page covers ormaos.com. What the Ormaos recorder records, and what it never records, is described on the home page and will get its own page before release.

Changes

If this page changes, the date at the top changes too. If a change affects how your email is used, I’ll email you first.
